Work Mates at the Ploughing Match

Work Mates
I am just framing up another copy of Work Mates for a customer tomorrow, perhaps it’s a present for someone who remembers such scenes. The painting depicts Katrina and Melinda a pair of Clydesdales that belonged to a Harding of Winford which I saw at The Mendip Ploughing Match when it was held at Stanton Drew one year.
Artistic Licence -I thought I would leave out the bright blue catering van behind them.
