Whisky Commission from Glasgow to Orkney via Islay and the Spey Valley
Many years ago when I still had my studio on the top floor of Crispin Hall in Street a visitor plodded up the forty seven steps to my room to ask if I did commissions. On hearing my reply that I was pretty busy at the time and did not know if I could fit something in he then told me that it was to paint twelve paintings of Whisky Distilleries throughout Scotland, about two years work with all expenses paid.
After a nano seconds thought I asked if I could change my mind and do the job and strangely nearly all my friends offered to come and old my brushes for me.
All I have to remind me of the work are these few rough drawings which were done for the CEO to choose which ones he would like me to do paintings of.
Drawing since sold to a whisky buff
